Privacy notice

Dr. Knat is a personal project by Kayode Okosi. This notice explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you share with it.

What you share

• Chat messages you type or dictate.
• Photos, X-rays, scans and medical documents you choose to upload.
• Voice audio, which is converted to text in your browser — the audio itself is not sent to our server.

How it is used

• Your messages and uploads are sent to the configured AI model provider solely to generate a reply.
• Conversation history is kept in your browser session; health reminders you set are stored only on your device.
• We do not sell your data, show advertising, or build a profile of you.

Third-party processing

Replies are generated by third-party AI model providers (for example Hugging Face Inference Providers). Uploaded images may be processed by third-party computer-vision services. Avoid including identifying details you are not comfortable sharing, such as full name, date of birth or NHS/insurance numbers.

Your choices

• Start a new chat at any time to clear the conversation from view.
• Clear your browser storage to remove reminders and any locally kept data.
• Do not upload images or documents you would not want a third-party AI provider to process.
